Houserules

Basic supplies

Some basic amenities are provided in the house at the start, such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, pepper/salt, hand soap, etc. If this runs out, you will need to arrange further replenishment yourself for the rest of your stay in the house.

Trash

In the kitchen there are 2 trash garbage cans. 1 for plastic / cardboard (yellow bag) and 1 for residual waste (gray bag). Full trash bags can be deposited in the trash containers at the top of the driveway. Glass can be deposited in the glass container in the village.

(Location glass container: Turn left from the driveway, then take the first turn left and the next turn left again. Drive straight ahead on the road L'Église, the glass container is on the left-hand side on the verge.)

Departure

Upon departure, please leave the house before 10:00 am and leave the key in the mailbox at the entrance gate.

Cleaning and final cleaning

The house should be clean and tidy on arrival. If this is not the case, please contact us as soon as possible.

The house must be left neat and tidy. If the house is not cleaned up, the extra cleaning time (beyond the already paid final cleaning of € 50) will be charged at 35 euros per hour. The total amount will be deducted from the refundable deposit after your stay.

Leaving tidy means that:

- The house is tidy, i.e. putting all household goods back in their original place.

- The refrigerator, freezer and dishwasher are left clean and empty.

- The cutlery and crockery are washed and dried and stored in their original place.

- The washing machine is left empty and open.

- All trash cans are empty and trash bags are left in the designated trash containers.

- Used linens and towels are left on the floor in the bathroom. Clean towels can be left on the kitchen table.

- If the BBQ has been used, it is left clean and without ashes.

- Windows and doors are closed.

- Lights are off.

 

Terrain

During your stay, the house and the adjacent garden next to the house are at your disposal. The grounds around it are also accessible, feel free to walk around or do activities on the lawn around the barns. However, you are not allowed to enter the barns. Always close the gates around the lawn because of the cows that sometimes graze behind the barns. The outside area is secured by camera surveillance; your privacy has been considered in the placement.\

Noise

Between 22.00-07.00 you have to limit the noise in order not to disturb the neighbors.

Inventory

Please contact us as soon as possible in case of missing items from the inventory, this can be solved.

It is not allowed to use bedding and furniture, other than garden furniture in the garden.

It can always happen that something is damaged, please report this as soon as possible, so we can fix it soon for the guests after you.

The house is checked for defects and missing items after each stay. Tenants are liable for damages caused by them, co-tenants or guests. Damage will initially be deducted from the deposit. If there is more damage, the landlord will recover the uncovered damage from the tenant.

Barbecue/fire

The use of the BBQ is free if you clean it yourself afterwards.

Cleaning by us costs 35 euros.

The fireplaces in the house are for decoration and cannot be lit.

Making a (camp)fire on the property is not allowed due to fire hazard.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in the house. Smoking is allowed outside if the cigarettes are neatly disposed.

If these conditions are not followed, the deposit will not be credited.

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Parking

Next to the house is space to park several cars, in case of insufficient parking, parking can also be provided along the driveway.  

Electric car charging

There is a 16A power connection available, with your own cable / connection it is possible to charge your electric car, please contact us. Energy costs will be charged for this.

Maximum number of persons

No more than 8 people and 1 additional child aged 0-3 years may stay in the vacation home, unless otherwise discussed in advance with the landlord. If this number is exceeded, the person in charge of reception may deny access to the vacation home to these extra persons.

If at a later time, unknown to the owner/manager, additional persons do come to stay in the house, a claim of 15% of the rent per additional person will immediately arise. In extreme cases, access to the property may be denied immediately without the right to a refund.
